在这世界上，有许多濒临绝种的动物，而它们面临的重重危机，多半是由人类所造成，例如：我们乱丢垃圾使河川受到污染、工厂以及汽机车所排放的废气使空气不再干净，为了开发和建设不断破坏山林。有时我在想，如果没有人类的存在，地球会不会变得更好呢?为了要弥补我们所污染的环境，并且要重视及提倡“保护生态”的观念。

由于生物不停的变少，陆陆续续出现了保护野生动物的公益团体，而这些集团不断倡导要爱护动物、保护动物，因此，野生动物的生存权渐渐被重视，不过光靠这些热心人士的帮忙仍是杯水车薪，我们更应该从日常生活中落实，假如全世界的人每天都能随手关灯，至少可以救回一只可爱的北极熊;假如全世界的人都能减少塑胶的使用量，就有许多生物的肚子里面没有垃圾的存在;假如我们能减少废气的排放量，就可以使空气更为干净，不只保护动物，同时也是保护我们自己。

我们对于保护生态的观念应该推广到每一个角落，深植于人们的心中，无时无刻要懂得尊重其它生命，所有生命都是可贵的，我们无法即时扭转人们想要滥杀动物的想法，因为，有时关系到人们的生存与工作，但是，我们可以靠身体力行来改变别人想法，来落实保护生态的意义。

有时，我们应该将心比心，设身处地为那些因人类而丧生的动物，他们临死前的哀嚎，正是他们的求救讯号，他们也是生物，同时也是一个个宝贵的生命，我们并不能因为自认为高等，而残害其它的生命。

从前，在一个大森林里，住着许多小动物，他们每天都在开开心心的玩耍。

一天，兔子、猴子、青蛙、小鸟、乌龟、熊猫、蛇一起在一颗大树下玩耍，他们玩得正高兴的时候，突然蹦出来了五个人，他们个个拿着斧头，正大摇大摆地向蛇它们走来，这时，一个人说：“兄弟，这下咱们可发了，连国家一级保护动物——熊猫都在这呢!这要是拿去卖了，一定能卖个好价钱，到时候咱们去酒店喝个三天三夜。“

又有一个人说：“你们看这只蛇，可是正宗的眼睛王蛇呢!光看长度就有7米多长呢!“……

这不，一个个说完之后就想要去抓它们。第一个人朝着熊猫奔去，熊猫灵巧的一闪，那个人一头撞在树上，晕了过去，熊猫看那个人晕了过去便拉着乌龟逃之夭夭了。有一个人看见熊猫和乌龟跑了，便快步追了过去，可去的时候熊猫和乌龟已经跑远了。又有一个人去抓蛇，可是偷鸡不成蚀把米，蛇把他咬了一口后就跑了，而兔子早就逃得无影无踪，小鸟也飞走了，猴子也从树上逃走了。只剩下两个人站在那儿不知道怎么办。

这个故事告诉我们伤害动物是可耻的行为，我们要和动物做朋友，不要伤害动物，还告诉我们——保护动物，人人有责。
